E-Tix Information

You just need a computer, printer and Internet-access!
It's fast, easy and secure!
How It Works
Consumers simply access Etix's website, etix.com, find an event, and purchase a ticket. Etix sends the ticket (containing a two-dimensional bar code) to their computer's browser. Consumers then print their tickets. No plug-in utilities (such as Acrobat Reader), special hardware or software are needed. All that is needed is a PC, Internet connection, and an inkjet or laser printer. When tickets are presented for redemption, a handheld scanner scans the bar code and validates the tickets.
Who We AreEtix.com is a provider of technology that enables secure delivery of tickets and redeemable vouchers over the Internet. The Raleigh, North Carolina based company uses the flexibility and power of the Internet to bring ticketing into the consumer's home.
What We DoEtix.com enables consumers to purchase and print concert tickets, gift certificates, vouchers, travel tickets, coupons, movie tickets, sporting event tickets, theme park passes-and more-at home using their own PC.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is Etix.com?
A: Etix.com offers print-at-home tickets to a variety of shows and events. What this means is that after purchasing tickets through us, you then print them out right on your home printer-no waiting in will call, no trips to the box office, and no waiting for snail mail! Not only is this convenient, but our technology gives you the option to email tickets to anyone in the world with an email address, and you can also replace or reprint your tickets should you lose them.
Q: How do I purchase a ticket?A: You can purchase tickets to your favorite events by visiting the www.etix.com web site and using the search feature to locate events by state or category. Once you have found an event, click on it, and select the type and number of seats you wish to purchase. You may purchase a maximum of eight tickets at a time. Etix automatically finds the best seats available in the section you wish to sit. After the system has selected your seats, you will be taken to our secure server, where you can purchase your tickets using a Visa or MasterCard. Once your card has been approved, your tickets will appear on the screen to be printed. You can then print your tickets out by clicking "ok," and then clicking the "print" button on your browser.
Q: Why do I get an error message for "invalid credit card" when I try to purchase tickets?A: There are several reasons why you may be getting an error. First, check again to make sure that all the information was filled in completely with no errors. The name needs to be keyed in EXACTLY as it is on your credit card. Also, the billing address must be the same as the one for your credit card. The credit card number must be entered with NO SPACES OR DASHES. If all this information is correct, then your card may be expired, or you may have insufficient funds for your purchase. If you are still having trouble, try contacting your bank.
Q: The screen says I did not complete the transaction in time?A: You have 15 minutes to complete your transaction. If you get an error message and you feel you it has been less than 15 minutes, you may need to be sure that "cookies" are enabled.
Q: My tickets are printing on multiple pages?A: Please check your printer margins. Your margins should be set to .75 on all sides.
Q: What if my printer jams, or I lose my tickets?A: As soon as you purchase tickets, an email receipt containing a link to your tickets is automatically sent to the email address you provided. If you need to reprint, follow this link to print your tickets again. You may reprint your tickets using this link as often as you wish.
Q: Wait a minute! What stops me from copying my ticket and letting all my friends in with me?A: Each ticket contains a unique, two dimensional barcode that is scanned at the venue. The barcode will only be admitted to the venue on the first scan. After a barcode is scanned at the door, it immediately becomes invalid for any subsequent entries.
Q: What if someone copies my tickets? What if there is someone sitting in my seats?A: All ticket and seat issues are resolved by the venue, just as with traditional "hard" tickets.
Q: I don‘t have a printer. Can I still use your site?A: Yes! Call our order line at 919-782-5010. An extra handling fee per order will apply. We can mail or fax your tickets to you.
Q: I don‘t have a credit card. Can I still use your site?A: We‘re sorry, but Etix.com tickets must be purchased with a MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover credit or debit card.
Etix.com Website Policies
Ticket Purchasing Policies
At Etix.com we strive to make your ticket purchasing experience as easy and convenient as possible. Please take a moment to review our ticket purchasing policies so that you understand how ticket buying works and how we are working to make this the easiest and most convenient way to purchase your tickets.
What a Ticketing Company IsEtix.com is an on-line Internet-based, ticketing service, hired by our clients to sell THEIR tickets. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your ticketed event experience BESIDES the purchasing process, then you must speak to a representative of the event venue at the box office before the event has concluded. Policies set forth by our clients including venues, teams, and promoters do not allow us to exchange or refund tickets once an event has taken place for any reason.
Methods of PaymentEtix.com accepts several methods of payment: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. As other methods of payment become available we will continually update this policy.
Refund Policy for Cancelled or Postponed EventsEtix.com will issue refunds ONLY if an event is cancelled in its entirety. Sometimes weather or other outside considerations make the performance impossible to complete. Every effort will be made by Etix.com to ensure that refunds are made to the consumer. However, the venue and or promoter will make the final determination of refund availability and/or duration.
Pricing and AvailabilityOn the day of an event on-sale and throughout the duration an event is posted on the Etix.com website, the Etix.com software will select the best possible seat location at that time as determined by our clients. Etix.com does not determine which seats are better than others. The venue where the event takes place decides in which order seats will sell. By utilizing the Internet, all of Etix.com's distribution points access the same ticketing system and inventory; therefore, tickets for popular events with a high demand may sell quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event or added to an event as it is selling; however, Etix.com does not control this inventory or its availability.
Convenience ChargesA convenience fee (service charge) is assessed for each ticket purchased for a specific event for the convenience of purchasing tickets remotely (either on a PC or by phone). Etix.com, being an Internet-based ticketing company, has priced the convenience fees per ticket to be as low as possible so that the consumer does not pay more than is absolutely necessary.
Refunds and ExchangesBefore purchasing tickets, it is your responsibility to carefully review your seat location, event and performance date. Policies set forth by our clients, including venues, teams and promoters prohibit Etix.com from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased. Etix.com being a print at home, Internet-based ticketing company does allow the consumer to reprint tickets for THE CONSUMER'S USE ONLY. The unique two-dimensional bar code printed on all tickets will allow access to ONLY ONE ticket, the first ticket, to enter the event. The user agrees not to sell, reproduce for sale, alter, or counterfeit the ticket for any reason, and assumes all financial liability for the copying of his/her unique, bar-coded ticket.
Delivery of Tickets and Will CallIf you have selected delivery through the mail, please allow at least 14 days after your order is made to receive your tickets. If you have selected the fax method of delivery please allow at least two hours for your tickets to be faxed to you. For express delivery orders, please allow at least 2 business days. If you have not received your tickets within 48 hours of the event, please contact us. Etix.com ships tickets via FedEx only in the United States to the billing address of the charge card holder. Tickets sent via U.S. postal mail can be sent within the U.S. or Canada. Occasionally, Etix.com receives incorrect billing or credit card account information for a ticket purchase that can delay processing and delivery. Even though Etix.com is an Internet-based, print at home ticketing system we do allow for tickets to be delivered through Will Call. Will Call tickets are generally available one hour prior to the event start time. You will need to present your credit card used to purchase tickets and a picture identification. Some events may not have a Will Call option available (in this case you will not get Will Call as a delivery option when ordering tickets).
Ticket LimitsWhen purchasing tickets through Etix.com, you are limited to a specific number of tickets for each event. This ticket limit is identified on the unique event page and is verified with every transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ticket buying practices.
