JUDGING & RULES

One of the pleasures of our hobby is sharing what we have and what we know. At this time of the year, it is the honor and the privilege of the Florida Panhandle Gem&Mineral Society to display the personal collections of rockhounds living in this area.

The exhibits of gems, minerals and fossils will effectively show how they can be transformed into art and utilitarian objects. Some too-beautiful-to-alter are left in their primitive state. During the first five days of the show, the viewing public will be invited to act as impartial judges. They will be asked to give their unbiased opinion ofwhich display is deemed to qualify asViewer’s Choice.

Public participation and judgingwill, therefore, add enjoyment and enlightenment of our hobby by those who appreciate nature’s beauty.
