ENTRY RULES

  1. 1. Set up times are: Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival, please consult with an exhibit assistant for your assigned space.
  2. NOTE: If you have not occupied your assigned space by 3:00 p.m. on Sunday the 16th, it will be reassigned to those on a waiting list.
  3. 2. This year there is a limit of one panel (Maximum) per Exhibitor.  Exhibit panel sizes are approximately 4 X 8 feet.  Please plan your photo display layout in advance of coming to set up your Exhibit. Exhibit assistants will not be able to give more space if your exhibit does not fit in your assigned space. An Exhibitor needing less than one panel will be sharing a panel.
  4. 3. All displayed entries must have your name, address and telephone number on the back of each print.
  5. 4. All entries must be originals created by the person entering his or her work.
  6. 5. All entries must be framed or mounted prior to the time of entry and equipped with wires or hooks for hanging. Metal paper clamps work best on our wire or pegboard panels. Because of moisture and temperature changes in the building, you should not use double sided tape to hold your mats together or tape type hooks on the back of mounted prints as they will not hold.
  7. 6. The exhibit is open to all photographers, amateur and professional alike. Therefore we do not allow professional advertisements or Business names displayed as the photographer, however Business cards or small photographers name plaques are perfectly acceptable but not required.
  8. 7. This is a family oriented exhibit. Entries deemed by the chairman to be controversial for family viewing will not be displayed nor judged.
  9. 8. All exhibits must remain in place until close of the exhibit. Exhibits must be picked up on Sunday, October 30th between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Exhibits not retrieved by that time will be left in the exhibit building and the Photographic Arts Exhibit assumes no further responsibility. To retrieve your exhibit after that time, contact the fair office at 850-944-4500.
