School Art Exhibit

ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH THE VISUAL ARTS

The Escambia and Santa Rosa School Districts
The School Visual Art Exhibit comes to the Pensacola Interstate Fair to emphasize the importantance of artistic expressions by children. The wide variety of art forms in the exhibit helps fair attendees grasp the depth and breadth of the visual arts programs in our two local public school systems. Teachers in all areas of the curriculum are discovering that the arts can be integrated in to all subject areas and that the arts can be a vehicle for teaching many subjects.
Students in the two counties who participate in the Fair in any way are eligible to
apply for Fair scholarships. Entering the Fair’s School Visual Art Exhibit is one of
the gateways for high school seniors to become eligible to apply for this valuable
college funding source.
