GENERAL RULES
- 1. ENTRIES: There is no entry fee. Entries for competition are limited to three per person, per category; however, there is no limit on pieces for display as long as there is space.
- 2. RESPONSIBILITY: Responsibility of exhibitors is covered in the general rules and regulations of the premium book.
- 3. JUDGING: Judging will take place 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2011.
- 4. CARVINGS must be the original work of the exhibitor.
- 5. JUDGING is done by the chairman or his appointee.
- 6. DECORATIONS AND DISPLAY will be at the discretion of the chairman and appointed committee.
- 7. ACCEPTANCE: All entries must be labeled with a registration number. Entry blanks may be obtained from the chairman at time of entry. Entries will be accepted in Building 2, on Tuesday Oct. 18, (2-8 p.m.) and Wednesday Oct. 19, (2-4 p.m.). No entries will be accepted after Oct. 19, 4 p.m.
- 8. CATEGORIES with only one entry must have a basis of 90 points or greater for 1st Premium and 80 points to qualify for 2nd place ribbon.
- 9. DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES WILL BE FINAL. THE JUDGES AND THE CHAIRMAN RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY AND ALL ENTRIES.
- 10. THE PENSACOLA INTERSTATE FAIR, chairman, co-chairman, sponsoring committee and employees or members thereof, do not accept any responsibility for loss or damaged items. However, all possible care will be exercised in the care and handling of exhibits and maximum practical security provided.
- IMPORTANT -
All exhibits must remain in place until Sunday, October 30, 2011
after 10 a.m. Contact the chairman or co-chairman for special drop
off or pick up arrangements.
