Security for 2017 Fair

The Pensacola Interstate Fair wants to assure all of our Fair fans and loyal customers that there WILL BE SECURITY for the 2017 Fair. Any information that states otherwise is false and should be disregarded.

The safety of our fairgoers is always among our top concerns and we take nothing more seriously. We have hired STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS to work the full 11 days of the 2017 Fair, October 19-29. These officers have FULL LAW ENFORCEMENT POWERS granted to other peace officers of the state. The security is fully funded by the Fair – we are spending over $140,000 this year on hired security to ensure the safety of our fairgoers. Come and have a great time!

Age Requirements

We also wanted to mention that there are NO NEW AGE REQUIREMENTS of any kind in place for the 2017 Fair for those 18 years old and younger. Any information that states otherwise is false and should be disregarded.

We will be having a scavenger hunt at the Fair! Kids and adults alike are encouraged to take a short break from the rides and explore the many things that there are to do and see at the Fair! You never know, you may find something that you never even knew was there!

Scavenger Hunt Rules

Find 20 of the 35 items listed. Take a selfie to prove it. When you have completed your 20 selfies, go to the information booth located in the center of the Fair (near the carousel) and show your selfies to Melissa to receive your prizes.

What’s in it for me?

If you complete this hunt, you will receive a coupon to use on the fairgrounds for a 2 for 1 Pronto Pup discount coupon and a free drip coffee at Drowsy Poet as well as a ribbon for completing the Fair Scavenger Hunt.

Cirque Ma’Ceo is a revolutionary theatrical phenomenon like no other…an emotionally charging, up close and personal, luxurious experience! Step into our exclusive, custom designed Italian Big Top Theater and settle back in our brand new, state of the art seats!

Sea Lion Splash

Sea Lion Splash is a unique show that will have crowds cheering and laughing! This is an educational show with a splash! The sea lions will amaze the crowd as they balance balls, shoot hoops, dance, perform handstands and show their pretty smiles! This is the only show in the US to feature both California and South American Sea Lions.

Professor Newton’s Science Show

Come along with Professor Newton as he gives fair guests a true STEAM education experience. This 30-minute audience interactive program showcases exciting science demonstrations with a theatrical presentation – created especially for families.

Reno’s Reptiles

Get up close and personal with your favorite reptiles!! Returning again to the Pensacola Interstate Fair, this is a wonderful exhibit for the entire family to enjoy! Come see dozens of reptiles, including snakes, scorpions, turtles, live alligators (up to 3 ft). Also making a special appearance will be the 50lb. tortoise, 5 foot Asian Water Monitor, 200lb. Reticulated Python and 85lb. Alligator Snapping Turtle! All these reptiles are free to see! If you’d like to get even closer to the action, they offer an “Up Close Encounter” where you can actually hold 3 reptiles for $5! Don’t miss this great attraction!

“Last Blast” Family Day – Come celebrate the final day of the Fair with a special $5 admission price for everyone all day long! (Children 3 and under are FREE. Any passes or discounted admission tickets will count as ONE ADMISSION ONLY.)

“Last Blast” Ride Wristband – Purchase a special Wristband for $23 ($5 savings). Wristbands are good on all Reithoffer Midway Rides until closing. Individual ride tickets are also available all day. All Super-Saver Wristband tickets will be accepted. (Children between 36-42 inches must ride with a paying adult. Children that are 42 inches or taller will be able to ride most kiddie rides alone.)

Kids’ Day – All kids 11 years and under will be admitted FREE to the Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. General Admission prices apply after 2 p.m.

General Admission – Admission price is $10 for everyone 12 years and older, $5 for ages 4 – 11, and FREE to children 3 and under at all times.

“$28 MIDNIGHT MADNESS” – Beginning at 8:00 p.m., Midnight Madness tickets will go on sale for $28 at the main ticket booth, allowing unlimited rides and admission into the Fair. Midnight Madness ends at 2:00 a.m.
No General Admission tickets will be sold after 8:00 p.m.

Hurricane Zeta Update

The Pensacola Interstate Fair will be closed on Wednesday, October 28 due to Hurricane Zeta. We will reopen on Thursday, October 29 at 4:00 p.m.

The $15 Unlimited Ride Wristband that was scheduled for Wednesday will be moved to Thursday!

The livestock auction scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday will be moved to Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend and participate in the auction!

General Admission Prices

$8.00 – ages 12 and older (Monday-Thursday*)
$10.00 – ages 12 and older (Friday-Sunday*)
$5.00 – ages 4-11
FREE – ages 3 & under at all times

* Ages 4 & up will be admitted for $1 on October 22, and for $5 on November 1. Ages 3 & under are FREE at all times.

Unlimited Ride Handstamp

$23.00 – Monday thru Thursday*
$28.00 – Friday thru Sunday*

* All rides cost only $1 on October 22. Unlimited Ride Handstamp will cost $23 on November 1.

Ride Wristbands provide unlimited rides all night long. Individual ride tickets are also available all day, every day. Ride Height Restrictions: Children between 36-42 inches must ride with a paying adult. Children that are 42 inches or taller will be able to ride most kiddie rides alone. (These restrictions are set by the State of Florida.)

Advance Discount Admission and Wristbands

Due to many of the services that have had to shut down due to COVID-19, Advance tickets will not be sold for the 2020 Fair. This is out of our control and we apologize for the inconvenience. We definitely plan to bring them back for next year’s Fair!

Parking Information

$5.00 – Lighted & paved parking. Parking tickets are available at Main Ticket Booth when you buy your admission tickets and will be collected upon exit. If you choose, you may also pay cash as you exit.

Entertainment Lineup

In order to comply with federal and state health directives and social distancing guidelines due to the pandemic, fair organizers decided to cancel the 2020 evening concert series and close most exhibits. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will enjoy the many other attractions offered.

Along with amazing food, thrilling rides and great musical acts to entertain you, there are also many other things to see and do at the Fair! Best of all, they are all FREE with your admission!
